The Relarr system was a part of the Arrowhead, or the Slice portion of the Core Worlds.[2] It was situated near[3] the Core Worlds'[1] Kuat system. At some point between the Battle of Endor[3] of 4 ABY and approximately 7 ABY,[4] while preparing to land his starship Trustworthy at the Kuat Drive Yards' facilities in the Kuat system, the Nalroni thief Drolen Antig and some of his accomplices killed three Advosze thieves together with whom Antig had recently stolen New Republic military technology. After Antig and his crew subsequently sold the technology to Kuat Drive Yards, the bodies of the Advozsec were later discovered jettisoned in the Relarr system, a fact that was later noted by the New Republic General Airen Cracken in an entry of the datafile Wanted by Cracken[3]—the initial version of which was published in 7 ABY[4]—dedicated to Antig.[3]
Behind the scenes
The Relarr system was first mentioned in the "Wanted by Cracken" segment of the May 1996 tenth issue of West End Games' Star Wars Adventure Journal. The segment was authored by C. Robert Carey.[3] The StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the system in grid square M-10.[1]

"Wanted by Cracken" — Star Wars Adventure Journal 1 establishes that the "Wanted by Cracken" segment of the Star Wars Adventure Journal represents an in-universe update to the datafile Wanted by Cracken, the original version of which is presented in the sourcebook Wanted by Cracken. The latter work is dated to three years after the Battle of Endor, and since The New Essential Chronology dates that conflict to 4 ABY, the placement of the sourcebook therefore translates to 7 ABY.
