Reign of the Empire: From the Ashes is an upcoming novel and the final entry in the Star Wars: Reign of the Empire trilogy written by Fran Wilde and set to be published by Random House Worlds in summer 2027.

Development

On July 29, 2024, the novel initially known as "book three" of the Star Wars: Reign of the Empire trilogy was first announced to be written by Fran Wilde and planned to be published by Random House Worlds in spring 2027.^[1] During San Diego Comic-Con 2025, the novel's title was revealed to be Reign of the Empire: From the Ashes, though the release date got delayed to summer 2027.^[2]
