- "I'll check out the south quadrant."
"Careful over there, it's dark."
"Yeah, very funny Mixer." - ―Redeye and Mixer
Redeye was a clone trooper who served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars as a part of the 501st Legion. Redeye was killed along with their friend Mixer on the Coronet while fighting against Senator Tal Merrik's SD-K4 assassin probes.[3]
Personality and traits
As a clone, Redeye stood 1.83 meters tall and had tan skin.[1] Between Redeye and Mixer, Redeye showed more caution and seriousness than Mixer, who was more lighthearted about their mission onboard the Coronet.[3] Redeye was also shown to be nervous about missions in the dark, a subject Mixer teased them about during their mission.
Equipment
Redeye wielded a DC-15A blaster carbine while onboard the Coronet. Additionally, they wore Phase I clone trooper armor and had a pair of flashlights affixed to their helmet. Their arm plates bore unique blue stripes marking them as a member of the 501st Legion, and their helmet was customized with a personalized logo and a blue triangle marking centered on their helmet.[3]
Behind the scenes
Redeye first appeared in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode "Voyage of Temptation," which aired on February 5, 2010.[4] Like all clone troopers in the series, they were voiced by Dee Bradley Baker.[3]

Clone Troopers in the Databank (backup link) states that clones were based on the genetic template of the human male Jango Fett and created on the planet Kamino. The entry also establishes that they stood at a height of 1.83 meters and had brown eyes with tan skin. Since "Voyage of Temptation" portrays Redeye as an clone trooper, this article assumes he shares all those characteristics except gender.
