Recording crystal

Recording crystals were a type of recording and communication device invented by Galactic Alliance Security Commander Bilpin around 44 BBY. Myri Antilles was the first agent to use them in the field and discovered that they were not as secure as Bilpin thought, as Captain Oobolo was able to jam the crystals both ways, forcing her father, Wedge Antilles, to rescue her.
