The reciprocating quad blaster cannon, also known simply as the "cip-quad," was a model of blaster cannon manufactured by Merr-Sonn Munitions, Inc.. Developed during the Clone Wars, it was essentially a downscaled anti-starfighter emplacement.[1] During the reign of the Galactic Empire, the Heavy Shoretroopers of the Imperial Army underwent specialized training to utilize cip-quads.[2]
