An uprising against the Czerka Corporation took place on the planet Kashyyyk.[1] The united Wookiee warriors[2] fought against the occupation and were victorious. The troubled period left lasting scars in the Wookiees' hearts.[1]

Behind the scenes

The uprising on Kashyyyk was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon 43. In Star Wars Legends, the uprising in question was the Wookiee Rebellion on Kashyyyk as depicted in the video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic if the player chooses the light side path for Revan.[3]
