Ratcatcher (profession)

Ratcatcher,^[3] or rat-catcher,^[4] was an occupation, commonly held by droids known as ratcatcher droids, requiring the capturing of various types of, often dangerous, rats, including species native to the planet Tatooine such as Tatoo-rats and womp rats. Crime lord Boba Fett employed a LEP-series service droid which had previously belonged to Jabba Desilijic Tiure's criminal empire, with this droid continuing to work within the confines of Jabba's Palace^[2] as late as 9 ABY.^[5]
