The rapid recovery system was a hyper-efficient self-cooling system that allowed a starship to recover its deflector shields more quickly. The system was developed by Anzellan mechanics on the planet Kijimi.[1] In 3 ABY,[2] Miyuki Trade League merchants would sell the system for 2250 credits.[1]

In 3 ABY,[2] the scoundrel Kay Vess purchased the system for the Trailblazer, her EML-850 light freighter.[1]

Behind the scenes

The rapid recovery system first appeared in the "A Pirate's Fortune" expansion for the Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws,[1] which was released on May 15, 2025.[3] It was one of the several upgrades that players could purchase for their ship. The rapid recovery system reduced the cooldown on the ship's repair system..[1]
