In around 3643 BBY,[7] Coruscant Security Force officer Stansun tasked an agent of the Galactic Republic with raiding a clinic being operated by the criminal Black Sun on the planet Coruscant. The clinic was being used to surgical alter the faces of wanted criminals to help them escape arrest, and Stansun wanted for it to be shut down and for a list of its previous patients so they could be tracked down.[6]

This section of the article assumes 100% game completion. Any alternate stories may be noted in the "Behind the scenes" section. The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon within the Star Wars Legends continuity.

The agent successfully located a passkey for the clinic and then entered the structure, killing at least eight of the Human and droid medical personnel working inside and shutting the facility down. The agent then recovered the patient list from the structure's computers and returned it to Stansun.[6]

Since the mission and the incident are respectively part of Act I of the Jedi Knight and Republic Trooper's storylines, and the Trooper's Act I occurs concurrent to Act I of the Smuggler storyline, the general events of the Prologue and Act I for all classes can be assumed to occur in 3643 BBY.
