"You'll find Ragtags outside of most Corellia cities and Coronet is no exception. They're usually loitering around on the outskirts of the city. If you find anything about Tomi or my missing shipment, please follow it through."
Ral Mundi, to a spacer[1]

The Ragtag bunker was a bunker on the Core World of Corellia used by the criminal organization known as the Ragtags during the time of the Galactic Civil War. It was located alongside a beach a relatively short distance southwest of Coronet City.[1] In 1 ABY,[2] a spacer working for CorSec Lieutenant Mack Jasper assaulted the bunker in order to arrest the Ragtag thug Tomi Jinsin for his involvement in the the theft of a shipment of starship components from Ral Mundi's Starship Emporium. The Ragtag sentries who patrolled the bunker attacked the spacer and Jinsin was killed in the firefight.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Ragtag bunker was a location in the 2003 massively multiplayer online roleplaying game Star Wars Galaxies,[1] prior to the game's closure on December 15, 2011.[3]

The Ragtag bunker was added to the game with the release of the "Publish 21," on August 4, 2005.[4] It was part of the quest named "Find the Missing Shipment of Starship Components", best known as "Ral Mundi's quest".[5] Ral Mundi's quest was revamped with the release of the "Publish 27," on February 15, 2006,[6] as the quest was inserted into the "Legacy Quest," the main questline in the game.[1]

  2. The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
