The Ragnar system was located in the Merel sector of the Outer Rim Territories.[1] It contained the remote astronomical object Ragnar VIII.[3] The home offices of the Ragnar Syndicate, a chapter house of the Bounty Hunters' Guild, were located on Ragnar VIII, leading to the celestial body being considered the homeworld of the house.[4]

Behind the scenes

The Ragnar system was first mentioned in Galaxy Guide 9: Fragments from the Rim, a 1993 sourcebook written by Simon Smith and Eric S. Trautmann for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[5] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed it in grid square Q-18.[2]
