"You landed on the wrong planet, friend. The Republic isn't welcome here"
Gaan, to Joc Sah[3]

Ragmar V was a barren, desert-coated world in the Outer Rim Territories. Its population center was an outpost of outcasts of various species, who were opposed to the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars.

Description

"There's a primitive settlement a few klicks from here. Several life forms detected, sir"
Remy, to Joc Sah[3]

Ragmar V was an underdeveloped and arid world with a sparse population. The planet had a breathable atmosphere. There were no large cities on Ragmar V; the locals lived in small villages. The fauna of Ragmar V consisted of small green lizards that inhabited the canyons, as well as solitary birds circling above the surface.[3]

History

"I was just hoping for some real action for my first solo mission."
"Sometimes the smallest fights become the biggest battles. Stay on your guard."
―Joc Sah and his master, Sev[3]

During the Clone Wars, a gang of criminals operated on Ragmar V, led by a Human named Gaan.[4] Among the members of Gaan’s gang were representatives of many different species, including Ithorians, Bith, Nuknogs, Klatooinians, and many others. The gang was highly dissatisfied with the rule of the Galactic Republic and fought against it during the conflict.[3]

In the final year of the war, Republic forces were dispatched to Ragmar under the command of Jedi General Sev and his Padawan, Joc Sah. The Jedi intended to seize Ragmar, as the planet served as a key staging point for the Republic’s planned assault on a nearby Separatist base. Joc and his small squad of clone troopers landed in one of the planet’s deserts aboard a LAAT/i and were immediately attacked by bandits from Gaan’s gang. Discovering a small settlement that also served as the gang’s headquarters, Sah and his clones rushed toward it. A battle nearly erupted between them and Gaan, but before fighting broke out, the Padawan’s soldiers received Order 66 and opened fire on their commander instead of the bandits. Fortunately for Joc, Gaan and his men sided with him and defeated the attackers.[3] Soon after their victory, the gang, together with the Padawan who had joined them, took shelter in one of Ragmar’s deserts.[5]
