"Race for the Tessent" is an article in the ninth issue of Star Wars Gamer, written by Craig Robert Carey, Jason Fry, and Dan Wallace and published in March of 2002.
It is an adventure for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game suggested for 4–6 players.
Plot summary
A group of treasure hunters hear of the Ayrou Tessent and the Alsakan Tessent from Alsakan legends which went missing after the fall of the Galactic Empire.
The hunters must race the xenoarchaeologist Follnor Callat and his hired forces to the Tessent, as well as Kintan Gunrunners.
As part of their hunt they searched for the statue stops at Ast Kikorie, Sarafur, Thonner, Qina, and Endor.
Continuity
The adventure is open-ended in terms of the background and course of the adventure, and whether or not they find one of the idols in the end.
The search for the idol was briefly mentioned in Abel G. Peña's article "The History of the Mandalorians" in Star Wars Insider 80.
