R4 (Rokana Raiders)

R4 was an R4 series astromech droid who worked with the Rokana Raiders pirate group at their base in the Sayma Nebula[1] in 3 ABY.[2] Later that year, R4 tried to leave the base on her own by taking an a empty starship. A member of the later talked to a comrade about R4's behavior who insisted that the ionization of the nebula must be effecting the raider's droids.[1]

Behind the scenes

R4 was first mentioned in an ambient conversation that players could overhear while in the "Dead Man's Tale" mission in the "A Pirate's Fortune" expansion for the Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws,[1] which was released on May 15, 2025.[3]
