R4-TR3 was an R4 astromech droid whose appearance was akin to a festive evergreen tree, even topped with a sparkling golden star. The droid was known to spend time on the forest moon of Endor.[1]

Topped with a sparkling gold star, the festive little fellow does a wonderful impression of a Christmas tree. His name, TR3, even sounds the part and then, of course, he's the cutest shade of evergreen."

This Christmas-themed Star Wars: Droid Factory droid was a toy first made available for purchase via Disney Parks and the Disney Store website on October 2, 2024. Parts of R4-TR3's name is leet speak of the word "tree".[1] He is conceptually similar to a festive droid minifigure in the 2014 LEGO Star Wars advent calendar.[2]
