The R200 ion jet engine, also known as R200 ion fission engine,[2] was an ion engine produced by Koensayr Manufacturing, and was installed aboard their BTL-A4 Y-wing assault starfighter/bomber.[1] The immense fission engines were turbo-modified, and articulated disk-ventrals set in the end of the engine nacelles redirected the R200's ion thrust for increased agility. The two engines allowed the Y-wing to reach a maximum atmospheric speed of 1000 kilometers per hour.[2]
