R2-B3[4] was a droid that was part of the Hidden Path.[2] In 9 BBY,[5] R2-B3 was present for a meeting preparing for the Rescue of Princess Leia.[2]

Behind the scenes

R2-B3 appeared in "Part IV," the fourth episode of Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi.[2] It was first identified in promotional images released by The Walt Disney Company on Getty Images.[4] The droid shares its name with another from the Star Wars Legends continuity, R2-B3, a droid owned by Jaina Solo that first appeared in The New Jedi Order: Enemy Lines I: Rebel Dream.[6]
