The Jedi Master[2] Quinlan Vos made use of a personal Jedi starfighter during the opening weeks of the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems[1] in 22 BBY.[3] In the days following a bombing on the planet Cato Neimoidia[1] in the Colonies,[2] Vos's starfighter was preparing to launch from a docking bay on the Core Worlds planet Coruscant. When a droid approached to help Vos load spare parts into his starfighter's equipment hatch, he refused the assistance. After winking toward his friend and fellow Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi across the hangar, Vos shut the hatch.[1] By 19 BBY,[4] Vos had started to fly an Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor.[5]

Behind the scenes

Quinlan Vos's Jedi starfighter appeared in Mike Chen's 2022 novel Brotherhood.[1]

  4. Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Character Encyclopedia - Join the Battle! dates the events of Dark Disciple to 19 years before the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, which corresponds to 19 BBY according to Star Wars: Timelines. As Quinlan Vos uses a Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor during the events of Dark Disciple, he must have started to use that starfighter by that year.
