Purple Werm was an establishment in a seedy part of the Coruscant underworld. It was situated right between Playland Theatre and Ihouse. The facade showed pictures of humanoid faces and carried a purple Aurebesh neon sign, which spelled out the name.[1]
During the Clone Wars, bounty hunter Cad Bane stayed in an apartment right across the street from the business, while planning a raid on the Jedi Temple. At the time, the light had gone out in the last letter of the Purple Werm sign, making it look like the establishment was called "Purple Wer."[1]
Behind the scenes
The old Clone Wars episode guide on the StarWars.com erroneously refers to the establishment as "Purple Wer";[2] probably because there is no light in the last symbol.[1]
During pre-production, the establishment was called "Felucian Loveshack " as seen in concept art of the Coruscant underworld.[3]
