A pulse bomb, also known as an EMP bomb,[1] was a form of explosive weapon was developed by the Gungans that saw widespread use during the Clone Wars.[2] The bomb was very powerful as it would cause heavy damage when detonated but it was also extremely dangerous. Dash Rendar used these bombs on Xizor's Palace on Coruscant.[3] The electromagnetic pulse from one such bomb that threatened to destroy the Jedi Temple's computer core and the entity Abeloth with it was used by Saba Sebatyne and her forces in order to draw Abeloth out to her physical form during the assault on the New Jedi Temple.[1]
