The Pugal system was a part of the Glythe sector[1] in the New Territories portion of[2] the Mid Rim.[1] It was the origin point of the Pugali language.[4][5]
Behind the scenes
The Pugal system was introduced in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square J-7.[3]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for Pugali in relation to the Pugal system.
