Puffer pig bacon was a type of food made from puffer pigs. It was served in the Colossus marketplace during the Cold War.[1] Anglers used puffer pig bacon as bait to catch snarlfish, who proved to have a big appetite for it.[4] The orphans Kel and Eila used the bacon as bait as well.[1] Later, the merchants Flix and Orka took a supply of bacon as they hid inside a cargo container waiting to be shipped off world during the occupation of the Colossus.[3]
