Pucumir Thryss was a former Tibanna gas miner. He was one of the Rebellion's contacts on Cloud City before it was captured and taken over by the Galactic Empire. He left Bespin for Jabba's Palace in order to hide from the Imperials. Thryss always wished he could return to Cloud City and retake it.[1][3]
In 4 ABY, when Luke Skywalker and his friends came to the palace to rescue Han Solo, Thryss cheerfully looked on as Skywalker was attacked by Jabba's rancor.[2]
