A proximity detonator was a weapon attachment that allowed for remote detonation of explosives, such as grenades. With a proximity detonator, a user could set an explosive to detonate when an enemy approached. Models of proximity detonator included the Merr-Sonn Munitions, Inc. Model 8 Smart Trigger and the SoroSuub Corporation Mk III Proximity Detonator.[1]
