The Prototype Saber Design was a custom lightsaber hilt owned by the droid Hunter J-3DI that he could wield for the Hunters of the Outer Rim competition on Vespaara as an alternative to his standard lightsaber.[1]

Behind the scenes

Prototype Saber Design was a "Legendary" rarity "Weapon Wrap" for the Hunter J-3DI's Jedi Saber Design, which first appeared in the competitive video game Star Wars: Hunters, specifically added within update 5.0.0 alongside Season 5 on January 27, 2025. It served as half of a cosmetic set alongside the Prototype Jedi.[1]
