The Prototype Jedi was a bodily configuration equipped by the droid Hunter J-3DI that he could don for the Hunters of the Outer Rim competition on Vespaara as an alternative to his standard configuration. This configuration lacked plating in most areas, only covered in sparse pieces of unpainted metal, though most of the body consisted of exposed joints and wiring, seemingly referencing how J-3DI may have looked when Sprocket was constructing him during the prototype phase.[1]
Behind the scenes
Prototype Jedi was a "Legendary" rarity "Costume" for the Hunter J-3DI, which first appeared in the competitive video game Star Wars: Hunters, specifically added within update 5.0.0 alongside Season 5 on January 27, 2025. It served as half of a cosmetic set alongside the Prototype Saber Design.[1]
