Project Phlutdroid was a project developed by the Phlut Design Systems after the end of the Clone Wars. It was taken over by the Holowan Laboratories, which continued the project into the Imperial Era.[1] According to legend, IG-88B was[2] one of five identical IG-series assassin droids[3] created by the Holowan Laboratories during the secret Imperial Project Phlutdroid.[2]
