Project Icefang was a highly secretive operation carried out by the Kuat Drive Yards branch known as Rothana Heavy Engineering to equip the Grand Army of the Republic with military vehicles and assault ships. The order was placed in 31 BBY, and was completed by the start of the Clone Wars in 22 BBY.
