- "Meanwhile, amid the slightly outdated tendencies of some instructors at the Imperial Academy on Alsakan, Major Urkhaste's lessons on defensive tactics and deployments were apparently legendary."
- ―Beaumont Kin, The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire
Principles and Precepts of Defensive Fortifications was a lecture series covering defensive tactics and deployments that was delivered by Major Urkhaste at the Galactic Empire's Alsakan Academy on[1] the planet[2] Alsakan. A file on the series was stored in the "Alsakan Imperial Academy" section of the Imperial Archives and cited by the historian Beaumont Kin when[1] he[3] mentioned Urkhaste in his book The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire[1] in 35 ABY.[4] Kin used the citation to the series as evidence that the major's lectures had apparently been legendary despite other instructors at the academy tending to be slightly outdated.[1]

- ↑ Star Wars: The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire states that thirty years have passed since the end of the Galactic Civil War and months have passed since the Battle of Exegol. As Star Wars: Timelines dates the end of the war to 5 ABY and the Battle of Exegol to 35 ABY, the in-universe The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire must have been published in 35 ABY.
