The Presteen system was located in the Senex sector, a part of the Senex-Juvex region in the Western Reaches portion of the Mid Rim. It was connected to the Caltinia and Veron systems by the Senex-Juvex Loop and contained the planet Presteen, which was ruled by the lesser nobles of House Araba.[1] By 3 ABY,[2] Queen Sula of Presteen traveled to Cloud City, a floating city in the clouds of the[3] Mid Rim[1] planet Bespin.[1]

The Presteen system was first mentioned in The Essential Atlas, a reference book written by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry and released in 2009, which placed the system in grid square L-17.[1]
