- "Your design aesthetic is still derivative of the Pre-Exile Masters."
- ―Alrich Wren, to Sabine Wren
The Pre-Exile Masters informed the art style of Sabine Wren (pictured).
The Pre-Exile Masters were a designation associated with artists such as Tojnun, who in particular was an influence on the Mandalorian Sabine Wren's artistic style.[1] In 1 BBY,[2] Sabine's father Alrich Wren observed his daughter's color and line work on her customized Mandalorian armor and noted that her aesthetic was still a derivation of that of the Pre-Exile Masters. Sabine responded by stating that Tojnun was one of her influences, although she had made the style her own.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Pre-Exile Masters were mentioned in the first part of Star Wars Rebels: Heroes of Mandalore,[1] the two-part premiere episode of the fourth season of the animated television series Star Wars Rebels, which aired on October 16, 2017.[3]
