Power umbilicals were enormous cables that connected Balada the Hutt's Hypernova-class control ship, simply known as the Hypernova, to four designated power stations spread throughout and near the Arena District of the planet Vespaara. The energy generated by these stations was transferred through the cables to the Hypernova, allowing the spherical ship to maintain functionality. The power station found within Vespaara Row, a civilian district that doubled as a part-time make-shift Hunters of the Outer Rim battlefield, featured a large terminal that constantly displayed live diagnostic information regarding the energy output and stability of the Power Umbilical connected there.[1]
