This article covers a subject that was cut from the final version of a Star Wars Legends source. The subject appeared in no other source and was therefore considered non-canon within the Legends continuity.

The title of Potentate was held by Tambocell, an individual affiliated with the Geroon Nation, which partially shared its name with the[1] Unknown Regions Geroon species and their eponymous homeworld.[2]

Behind the scenes

Potentate was set to be introduced in the Ebruchi section of the 2010 sourcebook The Unknown Regions, published by Wizards of the Coast for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game; however, the quote the title was mentioned in was cut due to lack of space.[1] In the real world, a potentate was a ruler.[3]
