Pop was a musical genre. The band Pekkie Blu and the Starboys played a brand of pop known as Deva which gained them a large fanbase.[1] During the Galactic Civil War the singer Shirley preformed a pop song known as "I'm Just His Satellite" in a number of exclusive performances for senators and celebrities, leading to the jaunt style of pop becoming more popular with a more respectable audience and earning Shirley the monica "The Chanteuse Of The Stars".[2]
