Pongol stew was a type of stew.[1] In 34 ABY,[2] the human Resistance members Poe Dameron, Rey, and Rose Tico smelled blagaret soup while traversing the tunnels of the planet Minfar. Tico thought the soup smelled good and likened its scent to pongol stew.[1]

Pongol stew was mentioned in Spark of the Resistance, a 2019 junior novel written by Justina Ireland.[1]
