The Podracing Open was a series of four podracing courses on Outer Rim worlds. This series was preceded by the Galactic Trials and followed by the Hutt Championships.[1] It was held for at least one year, in 24 BBY.[2]
Tournament structure
The Podracing Open took place across four worlds in the Outer Rim in 24 BBY.[2] As in the Galactic Trials and the Hutt Championships, commentary was provided by Dax Gazaway.[1]

Track favorites
Four podracer pilots attained the status of track favorite by 24 BBY.[2]
Behind the scenes
The Podracing Open is the second playable podracing tournament in the 2002 game Star Wars: Racer Revenge, and can be unlocked by finishing in at least third place on the final track of the Galactic Trials. By either defeating or placing higher than them, the track favorites can be unlocked as playable.[1]
