Plasma charges were explosives that emitted shockwaves of plasma. The charges cost 200 credits per unit. Though the heat released by a plasma charge was much less than the amount released by a baradium charge, they were useful for incinerating construction materials and overloading personal shields.[1]
Behind the scenes
Plasma charges were mentioned in Gadgets and Gear, a roleplaying supplementary sourcebook for the Star Wars Roleplaying series that was published by Fantasy Flight Games in 2019.[1]
