Plasma Energy Engineering was a unit of the Security Forces that served the Royal House of the planet Naboo. By the Battle of Naboo[1] in 32 BBY,[2] a small staff of trained personnel from the unit operated the plasma power generator housed in the hangar complex in Theed, capital of the planet's human Naboo culture.[1]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, Plasma Energy Engineering was mentioned in the 2016 reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations in a section reprinted[1] from the 2000 reference book Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Episode I, which was written by Kristin Lund and marked the unit's first mention in the Star Wars Legends continuity.[3]
