Planechanga

Planechanga were large tubular rail guns built by the empire of the Hutt species prior to the Hutt Cataclysms, a civil war within Hutt Space that began around 15,000 BBY. The weapons were capable of accelerating space rocks to velocities at which they could crack open entire planets. To aid in building the weapons, the Hutts hired members of the Sakiyan species, who recorded the payments in tribute-counts.[1]

Behind the scenes

Planechanga were first mentioned in The Essential Guide to Warfare, a reference book written by Jason Fry and Paul R. Urquhart that was released in 2012.[1]
