A pit-boar was a creature whose teeth decorated the half-mask worn by Lando Calrissian while in disguise as a skiff guard in Jabba's Palace during the rescue attempt of Han Solo in 3 ABY.[1]
Behind the Scenes
The tusks on Lando's skiff guard disguise were first described as belonging to a pit-boar in the Return of the Jedi novelization, written by James Kahn in 1983, but were later identified as belonging to a gondar in Taster's Choice: The Tale of Jabba's Chef,[2] which was published in Tales from Jabba's Palace in January 1996.
