The Piluvia system was a star system located within the Torch Nebula, a sector of the Outer Rim Territories.[1] It shared its name with the phenomenon known as the Piluvian salamander-storm.[3]

Behind the scenes

The Piluvia system was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, which was authored by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace and which placed the system in grid square P-19.[2]
