A pike was a type of polearm used in various cultures. Geonosian picadors used static pikes to control deadly creatures for Petranaki gladiatorial battles.[1] Imperial sandtroopers who rode spamels on Jedha[4] and dewbacks on Tatooine also carried pikes.[5]
The Jedi Temple Guards used special double-bladed lightsabers that have a longer hilt and featured two rare yellow plasma blades on each side of the staff, which were called lightsaber pikes.[6]
The Royal Guards also utilized these weapons. A trio of the Emperor's Royal Guards used modified magnetic force pikes to subdue Ezra Bridger when he failed to obey the Emperor as an apprentice.
