The royal charter of the Inner Rim planet Pijal was a sacred record of the origins of the Pijal system's monarchy that was stored within the royal palace's library. The first Pijali pilgrims of the world established the absolutist monarchy via the charter millennia prior to the Republic Era.^[1] In 40 BBY,^[2] the Pijali Princess Fanry thought about the charter, considering the lack of involvement of Pijal's most prominent commercial entity—the Czerka Corporation—in it. Not long after, the monarchy established by the royal charter was disbanded following Fanry's coronation and was replaced with a democratic Assembly.^[1]
