Pictograms were complex artistic designs created by members of the Aleena species of Aleen. The designs were created to remember a catastrophic war that almost resulted in the extinction of their species and the Kindalo they shared their homeworld with. The pictograms were carved into stone statues built around Aleena settlements.^[1]
