Phase II ARF armor,[2] also referred to as Clone Reconnaissance Armor[3] was the standard issue armor of clone scout troopers, a special branch of clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic. The armor featured less plastoid compared to the traditional clone trooper armor to allow greater mobility and flexibility.[2] It replaced the Phase I ARF armor.[5]
Behind the scenes
Phase II ARF armor first appeared in the film Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith. It was later revealed as the Phase II ARF armor in a post on Star Wars Battlefront II website.
