Phalanx was the alias of a male member of Stardogs, a group of Galactic Republic veterans that fought against the resurgent Sith Empire during the Cold War. When Phalanx was captured by the Empire on Nar Shaddaa, Jax Dumont tasked a Republic citizen to rescue him since he carried important information on the Hutt Cartel's dealings with the Empire.
