The Pestoriv Conferences were a series of at least four conferences held[2] during the reign of Galactic Emperor Palpatine before his death in 4 ABY.[1] The events were fully open and completely documented, including on a datacard labeled Listings of the Fourth Pestoriv Conference, which covered the Fourth Pestoriv Conference and was kept by Palpatine in the Mount Tantiss storehouse, located on the planet Wayland.[2] The conferences shared their name with the Pestoriv system located in the Colonies.[3]

In 19 ABY,[4] treasure hunter Lak Jit recovered several datacards kept at Mount Tantiss, including the one detailing the Fourth Pestoriv Conference. Jit was, however, forced to surrender them to New Republic High Councilor Leia Organa Solo. During her inspection of the datacard, Organa Solo mentally noted that the conferences were well-documented, so unless Palpatine was in possession of a secret version of the Conference's events, the datacard was not particularly important.[2]

Behind the scenes

The Pestoriv Conferences were mentioned in the novel Specter of the Past, written by Timothy Zahn and published in 1997 as part one of the Star Wars: The Hand of Thrawn Duology.[2]
