The Fourth Pestoriv Conference was a conference that took place[2] at some point during the reign of Galactic Emperor Palpatine before his death in 4 ABY.[1] It was the fourth of the Pestoriv Conferences,[2] which shared their name with the Pestoriv system located in the Colonies region.[3] The Conference was completely open and fully documented, including on a datacard labeled Listings of the Fourth Pestoriv Conference, kept by Palpatine in his Mount Tantiss storehouse on the planet Wayland.[2]

In 19 ABY,[4] treasure hunter Lak Jit recovered the datacard and was forced to surrender it to New Republic High Councilor Leia Organa Solo. While inspecting the datacard, Organa Solo mentally noted that, unless the Emperor possessed a secret version of the Conference's events, it was not particularly important, due to how well the Conference had been documented.[2]

Behind the scenes

The Fourth Pestoriv Conference was mentioned in the novel Specter of the Past, written by Timothy Zahn and published in 1997 as part one of the Star Wars: The Hand of Thrawn Duology.[2]
