Personal Combat Shields were plasma shields that could be activated from the Mandalorian vambraces worn by the Mandalorian warriors. The shields were 50 centimeters in circumference and could deflect blaster fire[5] as well as a lightsaber blade.[3]

The members of the Mandalorian splinter group Death Watch were known to employ shield projectors in their vambraces. They were used to deflect blaster bolts from Maul's Mandalorian super commandos during the Mandalorian civil war, after Bo-Katan Kryze's troops found themselves cornered without cover.[1] The vambraces gifted to Sabine Wren by Fenn Rau also were equipped with a shield projector. Sabine used her shield in battle with Gar Saxon outside the Wren Stronghold on Krownest.[2]

Markona had such, which could be projected from his gauntlet and could deflect a lightsaber.[8] Paz Vizsla projected a shield from his left gauntlet to deflect blows from the Darksaber in his duel against Din Djarin on the Glavis Ringworld.[3]
