Perri-Teeka was a male statesman from the planet Naboo.[1] By the time of the Battle of Naboo in 32 BBY,[2] Perri-Teeka was considered legendary in status, and a building known as the Hall of Perri-Teeka stood as a monument to the statesman in Naboo's capital city Theed.[1]
Behind the scenes
Perri-Teeka was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon as part of the name of the Hall of Perri-Teeka in "Theed: Naboo's Capital City,"[3] an article written by Tim Veekhoven[4] and published in the "Guide to the Galaxy" department of the twenty fourth issue of De Agostini's Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon magazine,[3] which was released around June 17, 2015.[5] The statesman was then mentioned separately as a character for the first time in the 2016 reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations.[1] The character originated in the Star Wars Legends reference book Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Episode I, which was written by Kristin Lund and released in 2000.[6]
